I had a comment regarding the book “Lose Weight Using Four Easy Steps” on another post I made that I wanted to share here because it was so informative. The original post was called “3 Tips To Lose Fat Quickly”:

Again, it’s about a book called “Lose Weight Using Four Easy Steps”:

Being healthy is a lifestyle, not a diet.

There are many good tips on how to achieve permanent weight loss; none of them includes diets or diet pills. The best way to lose weight and to become healthier is to take responsibility for yourself! Your health is your most important asset. For many people, being overweight is associated with being uncomfortable in their own skin.

To assist with weight control; keep a daily food journal and every time the urge to snack is felt, first drink a large glass of clear water.

This simple act will help you to eat less. Water hydrates you, suppresses your appetite, helps you to feel full, and metabolizes fat cells. Water will soon become one of your est friends. The major reason so many people in America are overweight is because we eat too much for comfort! It does not hurt to treat ourselves with something special once in a while, what is necessary is that we limit our portions and do not overeat! It is
also necessary to keep our body properly hydrated, so drink a full glass of water with each meal or snack. Being overweight ******, but after reading a book, I lost
    85 pounds!
Words can not express how good I feel!
This is a comment which I recently received about the book

It’s now the 1st day of 2010. It feels weird writing that. It’s also weird to think that it is the start of a new decade.

I reviewed some of the highlights of the past 2 decades in this post, Click here.

Many of you probably can think of 2 decades ago and probably farther back. I start at 1990, because that’s when I graduated from High School.

I encourage you all to write down on paper everything you want to get accomplished this year, and then cross it off the list whenever it gets done. I’ve been doing this for several years and it’s amazing what I’ve gotten done, or went in another direction other than I planned (because it was a better idea). You’ll be surprised what you can accomplish by 12/31/2010, if you just write it down. For example: Write down “Buy a new leather couch”. That’s one of your “to dos” for this year. Or, “get house painted”.

One of the items on my list is “build tree house”. That’s been needing to get done for around 2 years now.

Make your goals simple and measurable so you get them done.

Come up with goals for these 4 categories:

    1. Physical
    2. like:
run down the street, around the block, 1 mile or more.
      lift weights
      start exercising
      or other

    3. Spiritual
    4. like:
read the Bible 5 min each day.
read the Bible through this year.
spend around 30 minutes in prayer and Bible reading each day.
listen to the Bible on MP3 everyday (you can go through it around 3 times in a year)
      meditate 5 minutes a day.
feed your soul with something else.

    5. Financial
    6. like:
Be a better asset to your current company.
Pursue a better and better position at your current employer.
      Get a better paying job.
      Start your own business.
Make your own business more profitable.
      Get out of debt.
      Grow your savings.
Pay off your car note or home loan.

    7. Family/Personal
    8. like:
Spend 3 hours with your kids a day.
A date night 1 time a month with your spouse.
A date night with 1 of your kids each month.
Have 20 minutes of “couch time” with your spouse each day.
      Have a “super-happy fun day”.
Pay attention to what your spouse or kids are saying.

There are probably other ideas that you have that you can add to my list.

I would love to hear your comments below
! Please fill me in! It one just help me out but you’ll probably help someone else out as well.

    Enjoy,
